10 Jan Dominika and Pawel – Szczecin, Poland 01.10.17
Dominika is my little sister. She was 12 when I left to USA; it was 14 years ago… I couldn’t believe how beautiful young woman she had become. She was all grown up now. And she was getting married! I was a little nervous to meet her fiance, Pawel, but as soon as we stood face to face at the airport in Berlin, I felt like we had known each other for ages. I just loved seeing them together.
On the day of my arrival to Poland it started to snow. And it continued since. Everything looked so beautiful on their wedding day, just magical with little snowflakes dancing softly. It made everything look so gorgeous for that special night! We had a session few days later. That day was perfect! It was a sunny morning with cloudless sky and cold, crisp air. A soft, thick layer of snow covered the ground and the lake we chose for the background was frozen. It was a quick session, as it was so cold, but with help of our sister Ewa – the best assistant ever – it all went smoothly. I cannot express how special place that session held in my heart. Celebrating two people in love is always such an honor for me, but creating forever memories for my sister was truly precious to me.
